The foremost divorce firm of the state, Rosen Law Firm, expanded its services to Durham, Orange and Chatham counties by opening a new office in ‘Chapel Hill’ in Last July. 1 year later, Rosen says the growth has accelerated the companies’ general development.

A board-licensed family law expert and president of Rosen Law Firm, Lee Rosen says, “owing to our progress in these counties, we’ve adult over 20 % in the last year. We’re now moving ahead with our plans to open extra office space in Durham some time in the next 6 to 8 months.”

Besides assisting customers in the better Triangle, Rosen has been training the authorized community in its expanded service region on Collaborative Law.

Deborah Throm, Rosen’s managing attorney in Chapel Hill who has been practicing Collaborative Law for more than 5 years says “We are one of the few law firms that provide this kind of training.” Over the last year, Throm has met with local attorneys one-on-one, teaching them regarding the benefits Collaborative Law offers.

Throm also co-presented with Dr Tina Lepage of Chapel Hill at the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals 5th Annual Conference in Last October. The theme was bridging mental health and law, which was meant at assisting mental health professionals and attorneys understand how to work together to help families better in separation and divorce.

Being a permanent attorney with Rosen, Throm is also a negotiator for the State Board of Education where she assists as a neutral party in mediating disputes among families, their children and the school system. Rosen wishes to hold a seminar in Chapel Hill for Durham, Orange, and Chatham counties' mental health professionals by the end of the year.
